Tanzania Iyela coffee is blend of N 39 and KT 423 varieties. Coffee plants were grown by farmers at an altitude of 1800-1900 m in Songwe region in southwestern Tanzania. It is washed by Iyela coffee group. This is the formation of 194 small scale farmers who have come together to process their cherries at a communal processing site, this is commonly known as a CPU (Central Processing Unit). This has become quite common in Tanzania. Tanzania Iyela coffee is characterized by intensive aroma and full flavor with notes of cherries, caramel and cocoa. This coffee with is perfectly suited to both filter and espresso brewing methods.
